A good CW call isn't necessarily the shortest callsign available. It should be one that is easy to send, has a smooth delivery when sent and is easily picked out of a crowd. If you are using a keyer, I'd go with one like mine... that is, each letter starts with the opposite bit (either "dit" or "dah").

You would be best to practice at length with a few available callsigns first. Check the vanity callsigns that are currently available, there are a couple of nice "2" 1x2 calls still open.
