I am looking for a site which gives the history of callsigns. For example: what callsigns where orginally issued during which timeframe.
When were W5-- (1x2) originally issued.
I believe it would make for interesteing conversation to be able to discuss the particulars of when a recently assigned Vanity callsign was orignally issued.
Perhaps a callsign "historian" could share what were the most sort after callsigns of days gone by. 1XY, 1AW....etc...etc...
Any callsign historians out there willing to Share?????
