I tend to agree with that, however that’s me. It really comes down to personal preference. In my case I would not have changed my call if I could not get an original issue. If you look carefully at Mike’s last of immediately available 1X2 calls, there is still a few never issued 1x2’s. They are from the block of N calls that were available briefly in the 70’s. The list is getting smaller all the time. However is you look for the calls that still appear sequentially, it is a good bet that they are still “virgin” calls.
