My guess is that it's how the mapping software reacts when it can't find the street number. You'll notice the small red print above each listing ("street number not found"). Since it can't figure out exactly where to put the pin, the software designer had to have a backup plan. One option would be to skip it entirely. This option seems to be to "spread out" the pin placement across the length of the road. That would not be so obvious if it were a short road, but looks unusual for a long one.

P.S. It would have been much easier to figure out what you were talking about if you had indicated better what the subject was. Just saying "pins" wasn't as obvious as if you had said "on the N4MC Ham Locator." Also, I searched on WB0ZBR (that's a zero, not a letter O) and found that it wasn't a valid call; your concern is about KB0ZBR. And the holder is Janet, not Janice.
