Unless you have a copy of your old license, you will never find this info. Callbooks don't have (and never had) actual license dates; they are just a "snapshot" of the license database on the date of publication. You're either "in the book" or "not in the book." Since books were only published quarterly, that's the achievable precision.

The FCC doesn't have the data either. All license records prior to about 1966 were lost in a flood.

So the only way to determine the exact date is from the actual license document (or some other contemporaneous record, such as a mention in a club newsletter that they should "welcome Phil who just received W4TRF last Friday").
