ETA may have been issued in the 1930s, but the 1941 Callbook shows it vacant. It stays that way until the Novice version WN7ETA was briefly held around 1957 by Jack L. Esp, Eagle Point, OR.

In the 1976 Callbook, W7ETA was Chet T. Horton of Vernal, UT. He died in May 1979, aged 78.
