This is a quick question for somebody with access to any really old callbooks. (Prior to 1947) I (with a lot of help from Ron, W7VU) have traced the previous holders of W7VO back to about 1947, when Charles Newcombe, (originally 6UO, then I assume was W6UO), renewed his license and was given a 7th area call when NV was removed from the 6th call district. The question is, did anybody hold either W7VO or 7VO prior to that? I am building a website, w7vo.com, and have a tribute section for the previous call holders. Any help is appreciated, and I will give you credit on the website for any information.
